MEMBER UPDATE - STAY-AT-HOME RESTRICTIONS


Brothers and Sisters,

Today, St. Louis County Executive Sam Page and City of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson both issued stay-at-home restrictions beginning Monday, March 23rd.

Several sections of the St. Louis County order, linked here, with the following exceptions for the construction industry (Construction, Service or Manufacturing).

  • Sec. III. Definitions Sub. Sec. E No.8 & No.9
  • Sec. III. Definitions Sub. Sec. F No.14 & No.24 & No.38
  • Sec. III Definitions Sub Sec H

In the St. Louis City order, linked here, there is one section with the following exception for the construction industry:

  • Sec. II. Businesses and Governmental Operations Sub. Sec. T

Whether you live or are working in St. Louis City or County, please contact your employer regarding the status of your work site or facility.

If you are a member working under an IBEW/NECA contract, or a contract which provides Local 1 Health & Welfare benefits, and are an affected employee, please visit the Service Center website to access the COVID-19 form., linked here.

The Union Hall will remain closed to walk-in traffic, but the business representatives and office staff will be available by phone for any questions, problems, or payment of dues.
