For the 11th year the St. Louis Electrical Connection came out in support of Rebuilding Together St. Louis. Brothers and sisters of IBEW Local One came out in force on their day off to lend a hand to Rebuilding Together St. Louis. Dave Roth, Business Representative and Treasurer for IBEW Local One, organized and coordinated this volunteer effort again as he has done for years now. This year 16 St. Louis NECA Electrical Contractors and about 100 IBEW members took on repairs and improvements at 26 homes across the St. Louis area.

IBEW Local One’s members help Rebuilding Together assist people throughout St. Louis primarily by working hard to make their electrical service safe. From rerouting a house’s main service to adding a GFI outlet in a bathroom, the local’s volunteers are their making homes safer and better.

Special thanks to the following electrical contractors who donated the use of 25 service trucks, tools, ladders and more:

Rebuilding Together is a national organization with a chapter in St. Louis. They believe every one should have a safe and healthy home. These folks spend all year identifying disabled and elderly people in need, identifying where they need help and planning their annual one day blitz to make these homes right for the residents. If this sounds great to you why not consider volunteering with them?

The Following are a few pictures from this years event. For more pictures check out IBEW Local One’s Facebook page - here
